Osaka 2026 WTA 250 Results: Siniakova Beats Krueger 6-1 6-0 in Final

Siniakova wins the Osaka final

Katerina Siniakova won Osaka 2026, a WTA 250 tournament on hard courts. She beat Ashlyn Krueger in the final 6-1 6-0.

Both finalists came into the week unseeded. Siniakova was ranked No. 49 in the WTA ranking of 26 October 2026, and Krueger was ranked No. 44 in the same list.

Siniakova's path to the title

Siniakova opened against Peyton Stearns (No. 37) in the round of 32 and won 6-4 0-6 4-0. In the round of 16 she beat Magda Linette (No. 71) 6-4 6-1.

In the quarterfinals she beat Mary Stoiana (No. 113) 6-1 6-2. In the semifinals she beat Katie Boulter (No. 48) 6-1 6-4.

The final against Krueger finished 6-1 6-0, the same scoreline as set out in the title match result.

What happened to the seeds

Seed 1 Ann Li and seed 8 Katie Boulter lost in the semifinals. Seed 4 Talia Gibson lost in the quarterfinals.

Four seeds went out in the round of 32: seed 2 Peyton Stearns, seed 5 Liudmila Samsonova, seed 6 Janice Tjen and seed 7 Oleksandra Oliynykova.

Oliynykova (No. 62) lost to Mary Stoiana (No. 113) in that round, a ranking upset. Stoiana went on to reach the quarterfinals, where Siniakova beat her.

The betting market's view against the results

The betting market's favourite won 26 of the 31 main-draw matches it priced.

Among the exceptions, Sinja Kraus beat Catherine McNally in the round of 32 although the betting market gave Kraus a 32% chance. Antonia Ruzic beat Paula Badosa in the same round although the betting market gave Ruzic a 29% chance.
