How qualification works

The top 8 players in the ATP Race to Turin, which counts only points earned in 2026, play the Nitto ATP Finals in two round-robin groups of four. A 2026 Grand Slam champion ranked between 9th and 20th would take the eighth place, but this year every Slam champion is already qualified or out. The next two players in the Race travel as alternates. When a qualified player withdraws, the next player in the Race moves up.

Questions

When and where are the ATP Finals 2026?

Who has qualified for the ATP Finals 2026?

Alexander Zverev, Carlos Alcaraz, Ben Shelton have qualified. 5 of the 8 singles places are still open.

Is Jannik Sinner playing the ATP Finals 2026?

No. Jannik Sinner ended his 2026 season on 6 October with a knee injury, so the cut moves down one place in the Race to Turin.
