No scores, no winners and no set numbers here. The rating compares a match with others of its tour and format: how far the winner came back, and how much the last fifth of the points still mattered. It does not measure how well they played, and it has never been compared with what viewers felt. It does hint at the result: a high rating nearly always means a final set, a long match says the same, and later rounds show who advanced.
